The DR® PREMIER-36T Tow-Behind Rototiller is designed for soil preparation and can be towed behind an ATV, riding mower, or garden tractor. It provides a 36-inch working width and adjustable tilling depth for soil preparation across gardens, landscaping areas, and other suitable spaces.

Instead of walking behind a tiller, the operator can tow the PREMIER-36T from the driver’s position while the tiller’s engine powers the rotating tines.

Engine Power Dedicated to Tilling

Unlike a conventional walk-behind tiller, the PREMIER-36T does not use its engine to propel the machine. The ATV, tractor, or riding mower provides the forward movement while the tiller’s DR® overhead-valve engine powers the tines.

The weight of the towing vehicle helps keep the tiller engaged with the ground during operation, allowing the tines to work through the soil while reducing the physical effort required from the operator.

Wide, Deep Soil Cultivation

With a 36-inch working width and 12 steel bolo tines, the PREMIER-36T is designed to cover a wide path while cultivating soil to a maximum depth of 7.5 inches.

The rotating tines help break up and mix soil, making the tiller suitable for preparing gardens, planting areas, and landscaped sections of property.

Features

Manual Depth Adjustment

The manual depth-control lever allows the operator to select the desired tilling depth.

The PREMIER-36T provides a maximum tilling depth of 7.5 inches.

12 Heavy-Duty Bolo Tines

The 12 tempered-steel bolo tines rotate at more than 230 RPM and are designed to cultivate soil to depths of up to 7.5 inches.

Their curved design helps break up and mix the soil while reducing the tendency for vegetation to become wrapped around the tines during operation.

Belt-Drive System

The belt-drive system transfers engine power to the tilling mechanism. The tine shaft uses shear pins designed to help protect the drive system if the tines encounter an immovable obstruction.

Four replacement shear pins are included and can be installed without tools.

SMOOTH-TRAK™ Hitch

The SMOOTH-TRAK™ shock-absorbing hitch is designed to help absorb bumps, jolts, and sudden movements during tilling.

This helps reduce shock transferred between the tiller and towing vehicle and contributes to smoother operation.

Heavy-Duty Steel Frame

The PREMIER-36T features a heavy-duty steel frame constructed using 1-1/2-inch square tubing and 12-gauge steel.

A baked-on powder-coat finish helps protect the frame against corrosion and normal outdoor use.

Transport Tires

The PREMIER-36T uses 9.5-inch diameter × 2-inch wide resin-composite tires for convenient transport between work areas.

These tires are designed to make positioning and moving the tiller easier when it is not actively cultivating soil.
