The PRO 28B provides a 28-inch clearing width for moving snow across driveways, walkways, and other areas. Its wider clearing path is paired with an 8.5 HP engine for handling deep or wet snow.

8.5 HP DR® OHV Engine

The snow blower is equipped with an 8.5 HP, 302cc DR® OHV engine. According to the manufacturer, the engine is designed for cold-weather operation and for working through deep or wet snow.

2-Stage Snow Removal System

The PRO 28B uses a two-stage snow removal system. A serrated auger breaks up ice and compacted snow before the material is moved to the heavy-duty steel impeller.

The impeller measures 12 inches in diameter and is constructed from 10-gauge steel. The manufacturer specifies a throwing distance of up to 45 feet.

Plug-In Electric Start

Plug-in electric starting allows the PRO 28B to be started using a standard 3-prong extension cord. Because the starting system does not use a battery, there is no battery to charge or maintain.

A recoil backup with compression release is also included for starting when an electrical power source is unavailable.

EZ-Turn™ Steering

EZ-Turn™ steering allows the two axle shafts to operate independently when turning. This design helps make tight turns, including 180-degree turns, easier to perform.

The friction disc transmission provides eight total travel speeds:
