The DR® PRO XL30B is a 30-inch, two-stage snow blower designed for larger snow-clearing jobs. It combines a 12 HP, 420cc DR® OHV engine with a wide clearing path, six forward speeds, two reverse speeds, and EZ-Turn™ steering.

The PRO XL30B is equipped with plug-in electric starting, 15-inch pneumatic snow tires, heated hand grips, an LED headlight, and an integrated control panel. The manufacturer specifies a throwing distance of up to 45 feet.

30-Inch Clearing Width

12 HP DR® OHV Engine

The PRO XL30B uses a 12 HP, 420cc DR® OHV engine designed for cold-weather operation. According to the manufacturer, the engine provides the power required to work through deep or wet snow.

2-Stage Snow Removal System

The two-stage snow removal system uses a serrated auger to break up ice and compacted snow. The loosened material is then moved into the heavy-duty steel impeller, which carries the snow through the discharge chute.

The 12-inch impeller is constructed from 10-gauge steel and is backed by a lifetime warranty according to the manufacturer. The two-stage system is specified to throw snow up to 45 feet.

Plug-In Electric Start

The PRO XL30B features plug-in electric starting using a standard 3-prong extension cord. The system does not require a battery for starting.

A recoil backup with compression release is included for starting when an electrical power source is unavailable.

EZ-Turn™ Steering

EZ-Turn™ steering allows the two axle shafts to operate independently when turning. This helps the operator make tight turns, including 180-degree turns, with less effort.
